Three bodies and raft found off coast of Islamorada

A tip about someone in the water led to the discovery of three bodies Saturday.

The Coast Guard followed the tip from a fisherman and found a dead man floating about 20 miles Southeast of Islamorada around 11 a.m. Saturday. Nearby, Monroe County Sheriff’s office said, they found a raft. A few hours later, a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission plane found two bodies — a man and a woman.

The agencies are still looking for more survivors, or victims.
