Video shows fancy yacht going up in smoke
A 110-foot yacht under construction went up in smoke Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale.
Video shows heavy plumes billowing from the fancy boat at 2200 Marina Bay Drive.
Capt. Gregory May, a spokesman for Fort Lauderdale fire, said 40 firefighters — including the department's fire boat — responded and it took about an hour to quell the flames.
It was not immediately clear what caused the two-alarm fire.
One worker was treated for smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported, May said.
