Child seriously injured after being hit by a car in Broward
A child was rushed to the hospital Sunday afternoon after being hit by a car in Deerfield Beach, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
The child, who was not identified, was hit at about 4:45 p.m. near 347 NW Fourth Pl. The child was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center with serious injuries, BSO said.
According to local news reports, the child is a 4-year-old boy.
The driver, BSO said, stayed at the scene of crash.
