After firefighters extinguish a trailer fire, crews find the bodies of a man and woman
The bodies of a man and woman were found Sunday morning after firefighters extinguished a blaze in a Deerfield Beach trailer, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue crews responded to a report of a residential fire at 1810 Valencia Dr.
After quelling the flames, rescuers found two bodies inside, BSO said. BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units responded and are investigating.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the state fire marshal.
On Monday, BSO identified the woman as 84-year-old Dorothy Stevens. The man has not yet been identified.
