Wal-Mart employee delivers deadly rebuke to would-be robber
A Wal-Mart worker at the end of his shift in Sunrise shot and killed an armed robber Wednesday morning.
According to a report by Herald news partner CBS4, the armed robber rolled up on the Wal-Mart employee around 3:30 a.m. in the parking lot of 3306 N. University Dr. The employee pulled out his own gun and shot first.
Police told CBS4 the employee had a concealed weapons permit and it looks like a case of self-defense.
