Maureen Gragg has been named president of The Funding Arts Network. Before, she was FAN’s vice president for grant awards. Her previous positions include director of the libraries at Ransom Everglades School and assistant state attorney for Miami-Dade County in the civil division. She has a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, a master’s degree from the University of Illinois and a law degree from the University of Florida.
David Plath has been promoted to director of development and communications from his most recent position as marketing and advertising coordinator at ArtServe in Fort Lauderdale.

▪ Nelcy Vicente has been named senior vice president in the professional group. Previously, she was a private banker/commercial lender in the personal financial service group at Northern Trust.
<bullet>Moshe Kishore is now vice president/branch manager of the Plantation branch. Previously, he directed branch banking at Regions Bank in Fort Lauderdale.
▪ Nestor J. Mederos has been named vice president/branch manager of the Brickell Avenue branch. Before joining Sabadell, he was vice president/branch manager of City National Bank’s Brickell Avenue branch.

Alfredo Fuchs has joined Right Management, Florida/Caribbean as vice president-client services. He most recently was country head of Sony Ecuador. Fuchs earned bachelor and master’s degrees in business administration from Florida International University.

He also was a real estate reporter at the Daily Business Review and Miami Today. He has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Miami.

Also: He was a Major League Baseball pro and played for the Los Angeles Angels, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. He was a standout player at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale and also at the University of Miami about a decade ago, where he helped lead the Hurricanes to two College World Series appearances.
