The jewelry, fixtures and furniture at Design Miami/ aren’t going to make their way into the average 1,000-square-foot condo. But they are a testament to the value of good design, whatever the price.

Be sure not to miss Perrier-Jouet’s “Strand Garden,” a poetic version of high-tech art, and AirBnB’s Sobremesa, a relaxing space featuring inexpensive elements that could brighten any back yard.

Our fave: The portable “safari” furniture at Louis Vuitton. At $34,000, the Marcel Wanders-designed leather chaise probably won’t make into your carry-on.
