Dick Conley, Key West all-star teams in Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance Championships

The Key West All-Stars played the Palm Beach County All-Stars in the 140s weight class of the Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance Championships, presented by Sports Authority, at Alfonso Field at FIU Stadium in Miami.

At the culmination of each season, the best of the best participate in the Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance Championships, presented by Sports Authority at Alfonso Field at FIU Stadium in Miami.

The two-day event pits champions from various leagues against each other to crown a champion of champions in each of eight weight-classes. FSFlorida/Sun Sports once again produced a highlight show that aired in early January.

Teams from Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Palm Beach and St. Lucie counties participate in the OBYFA.

In day one,

85: West Boynton All-Stars 28, (Homestead) Dick Conley All-Stars 0: West Boynton Football League All-Stars were led by Yohan-Li Louis’ three-touchdown performance.

Louis scored twice in the first quarter on touchdown runs of 21 and 30 yards, and added another touchdown in the second quarter. Also scoring was Brian Boston, who recorded the final touchdown late in the second quarter. Defensively, Matis Gibson made two sacks.

105: (Wellington) Western Communities Football League All-Stars 27, (Homestead) Dick Conley All-Stars 0: Leading Western Communities was Drew Kerr whose two 20-plus yard touchdown runs seized the momentum in the first quarter. Also scoring for Western Communities was Telario Pringle in the second quarter and Brad Wharton in the fourth quarter.

Dick Conley All-Stars: Rasheim Lipscomb, Cassius Cobbs, John Thomas, Tesjohn Stanley, Adonis Moreno, Levy Miller, Isaac Holmes, Caden Harris, Hayden Carl, Antonio Jackson, Ryan Spencer, Gavench Marcelin, Saxtron Jamerson Jr., Kevin Gonzalez, Jamaal Brown, Hunter Barth, Anthony Reed, Mason Cornelius, Malachi Miller, Sir Robertgeau.

140: Palm Beach All-Stars 27, Key West All-Stars 0: Leading the balanced attack for Palm Beach was Michael Moreland who threw a pair of touchdown passes. In the second quarter, he connected with Tykorian Brown and again with Armando Maldonado in the third. Also scoring for Palm Beach was Julian Rincon and Jose Gonzalez on second quarter touchdown runs.

Key West All-Stars: Jason Block, Adrian Fisher Jr., Ethan Hunt, Cody Johnson, Clayton Carey, Cade Freeman, Garrett Hughes, Paton Hummell, Edwouens Marcelin, Jamari Martin, Demitrius Stiglitz, Jesse Garcia, Jonathan Guillaume, Zjamahri Medina, Darel Brevil, Jason Jeudy, Scott Jeudy, Lucken Deliscat, Isaiah Chenault, Evan Desir.

120: (Wellington) Western Communities Football League All-Stars 33, Key West All-Stars 0: The offense was led by the dominant performance of Jordan Kolnick who had two touchdowns, one on a 14-yard run late in the first quarter and the other on a 25 yard run early in the second quarter.

Winston Parke III had a 5-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Stephen Cortez scored on a 33-yard run in the third, and Kyle Boone added a 49-yard touchdown run.

Key West All-Stars: Logan Pellicier, Lamar Toussaint, Miguel Menendez, Christopher Sanchez, Jakhai Blake, Kamari Barnes, Camren Watson, Samari Martin, R.J. Lewis, Malik Hunter, Alex Rodriguez, Johnson Joseph, Carison Tucker, Jonathan Graves, Justin Haskin, William Estevez, Alberto Campos Jr., Zachary Albury, Rocky Grassi, Thomas Besson, Zeb Carey, Paul Crespo.

165: Palm Beach All-Stars 25, (Homestead) Dick Conley All-Stars 6: Quarterback Dylaan Lee tossed two touchdown passes to Dylan Brooker in the first half. Lee also added a rushing touchdown. Reginald Gadson had an impressive 47-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter, before leaving the game with an injury. Jahmad Everrett caught a 85-yard touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter to put Dick Conley on the board.
