The Come Make A Difference 5v5 Soccer Tournament to support Special Olympics is Dec. 6 at Kendall Soccer Park.
There are boys and girls divisions (U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16) and men and women’s open, over 35 and coed divisions.
There will also be a Special Olympic athletes division and a Unified Family Division which means people with and without disabilities can play on the same team. Now the parent instead of just cheering from the sidelines can play with his or her child and even give them the assist and hug them after a goal.
A free soccer clinic, featuring five World Cup ambassadors, is scheduled for all athletes with special needs.
