Former Miami Dolphins star Jason Taylor to host unique garage sale, ping-pong event for needy through Jason Taylor Foundation

Over the course of his decade-long commitment to South Florida’s children in need, Jason Taylor, the legendary Miami Dolphins defender and 2007 NFL Man of the Year, has hosted countless programs and events to further the mission of the Jason Taylor Foundation.

During that time, Taylor and his organization have accumulated a tremendous amount of…well, stuff. For the first time, Taylor has authorized the Foundation to open up its storage facility and offer this collection of unique items to generous community members in exchange for minimal donations at the Inaugural Jason Taylor Foundation Garage Sale.

The JTF Garage Sale will occur on Monday, Nov. 3 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Hard Rock Live near Hollywood in conjunction with the 3Cinteractive JT’s Ping-Pong Smash 11, presented by Publix. While Jason and his celebrity friends are supporting youth by playing the world’s fastest sport, the JTF Garage Sale will feature nearly 2,000 items, including more than 1,000 items priced at or below $5.

Some of the “treasures” donors may find at the JTF Garage Sale include event T-shirts priced at $2 each, hats for $3 each, polo shirts priced at $5 each and various bags, wallets and other specialty items.

Additionally, Jason Taylor has included some of his own unique items such as pairs of his actual football gloves, cleats, jerseys and even several personal items taken directly from the football hero’s locker following his retirement. One hundred percent of all proceeds raised from the JTF Garage Sale will directly benefit the young people served by the Jason Taylor Foundation.

Doors open for the JTF Garage Sale, as well as the 3Cinteractive JT’s Ping-Pong Smash 11, presented by Publix, at 5:30 p.m.

Admission to the event is a $5 donation to the Jason Taylor Foundation.
