Fins dump OC Lazor, host Ravens: The 4-7 Fins fired offensive chief Bill Lazor and host Baltimore on Sunday, then it’s on to 50th anniversary week, culminating with the all-time top 50 players being introduced Monday night. Dolfans hope remembering the past will help them forget the present.

Big Saturday sets CFP final four, bowl invites: With No. 1 Clemson (vs. North Carolina) and No. 2 Alabama (vs. Florida) heavily favored Saturday and No. 3 Oklahoma idle, No. 4 Iowa vs. No. 5 Michigan State effectively was a play-in game for the final College Football Playoff ticket.

Miami hosts Cleveland, overshadowed LeBron: Don’t you love it? Half of NBA fans are talking about Steph Curry’s unbeaten Warriors and the other half are talking about Kobe Bryant announcing his retirement. Meanwhile, the Heat on Saturday hosted the Cavaliers and ol’ what’s-his-name.
5. MARLINS
Fish sign Barry Bonds as hitting instructor: New manager Don Mattingly’s coaching staff was completed and it includes steroids-tainted home-run king Barry Bonds as hitting coach. Aside to Giancarlo Stanton: If Bonds casually suggests you try the “clear” or the “cream,” run like hell.
