Miami favored Sunday: Miami hopes to be more impressive Sunday against the underdog Jaguars than it was last week. Fins have started a season 2-0 on 19 occasions and made the playoffs 15 times. It was 15 out of 16 until the three most recent 2-0 starts (2002, ’10, ’13) missed the playoffs. Which leads the league in “trends that must end.”

Hockey’s back: Florida makes its preseason debut Sunday in Nashville and plays its first home exhibition Tuesday.
