Greg Cote’s Poll Dance: How would you grade Stephen Ross as Dolphins owner? Vote now
Stephen Ross. There. What was your instant reaction when you read the name? If you’re a Miami Dolphins fan, chances are you had one and have an opinion on the team’s longtime owner.
I have a new column headlined, Ross taking last big swing to rescue legacy as Dolphins owner. It credits Ross for the sports empire he has built around Hard Rock Stadium, including the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix and tennis’ Miami Open tournament. But it also notes his tenure as Dolphins owner has not helped his legacy, with a 17-season record of 131-146, only five winning seasons and zero playoff wins in only three postseasons.
As the Dolphins prepare this offseason for Ross’ 18th year as majority owner, and taking everything into account, how would you grade Ross’ overall stewardship of the Fins franchise thus far?
As always, you may vote as many times as you like or until your fingers ache. Go!
