Cote: Burrow wins Week 16, Stafford leads 4-man title fight in Herald NFL QB rank

BENGALS’ JOE BURROW STRAFES DOLPHINS FOR WEEK 16 TITLE, RAMS’ STAFFORD LEADS 4-MAN RACE FOR SEASON CROWN, BENCHED TUA DIPS IN LATEST MIAMI HERALD NFL QUARTERBACK RANKINGS: The 28th season of the Herald’s Passer Success System (PASS) rankings is down to the final two weeks, and it’s now looking like a clear four-man fight for the 2025 season championship. Rams’ Matthew Stafford maintains No. 1 overall ahead of Jared Goff, with Dak Prescott and Drake Maye also close enough to find a passing lane. Meanwhile, the Bengals’ Joe Burrow, who missed much of the season injured, wins the Week 16 title with a big 50.45-point game to climb from 38th to 32nd overall. Niner Brock Purdy’s Monday night show ranked second for the week at 47.75 points. The Dolphins’ Tua Tagovailoa, idle after being benched, slips one spot to 18th. Replacement Quinn Ewers scored a 17.00-point game, ranking in 22nd place for the week. Our ratings system is cumulative, not percentile-based, rewarding players who are consistently productive and avoid injury or benching. Bye weeks negatively impacted affected players but evened out over the course of the season. Our formula factors accuracy, passing yardage, TD/interception ratio and team result. These are passer ratings per se and do not include a QB’s running statistics. The 2025 Top 20 (plus all Dolphins) entering penultimate Week 17:
