Greg Cote’s Poll Dance: Who should be Dolphins’ starting QB in 2026? Vote now

Who should be the Miami Dolphins’ starting quarterback to open the 2026 season?

Still a simple question. No longer a simple answer.

Tua Tagovailoa’s benching in favor of rookie Quinn Ewers muddies the team’s immediate future at the position. Zach Wilson also is on the roster.

This poll is an opportunity to show continued supports for Tua ... or not.

Our poll’s options include a joking reference to Dan Marino.

No joke is the “someone else” option. This would encompass an offseason trade for a veteran QB or Miami drafting for the position. A someone-else vote would convey you prefer someone who is not Tua, Ewers or Wilson.

Y’all ready? Vote as many times as you like or until your fingers ache.

GREG COTE’S POLL DANCE: Who should be Dolphins’ QB to open 2026 season?

Previous Poll Dance verdict: Dorsey tops Kelly for greatest Hurricanes QB: We asked, “Who is Miami Hurricanes’ greatest QB of all-time?” You said: Ken Dorsey 34%, Jim Kelly 23%, Vinny Testaverde 15%, Bernie Kosar 10%, George Mira 6%, Other 5%, Steve Walsh 4%, Gino Torretta 3%, and Craig Erickson 0%. A good response! Note: Voting fluctuation suggests Dorsey-backers did a little ballot box stuffing. Hey, no law agin’ it.
