Cote: Bills’ Allen wins Week 14, Rams’ Stafford new No. 1 in Herald NFL QB rank

BILLS’ ALLEN WINS WEEK 14, RAMS’ STAFFORD LEAPS TO NO. 1 OVERALL AS LATEST MIAMI HERALD NFL QUARTERBACK RANKINGS PROMISE WILD FINISH OVER FINAL MONTH: The 28th season of the Herald’s Passer Success System (PASS) rankings is down to the home stretch. Bye weeks are done, the playing field is level and at least four QBs -- maybe more -- have emerged in the hunt for the 2025 season championship with one month left. The Los Angeles Rams’ Matthew Stafford is our new No. 1 for the season, but Cowboy Dak Prescott, Patriot Drake Maye and Lion Jared Goff are close enough to make every week a potential passing lane. The Bills’ Josh Allen -- who won Week 14 with a 42.55-point game, narrowly edging Stafford -- and the Packers’ Jordan Love are close enough to also be called in the hunt. Might someone else emerge? Meanwhile, the Dolphins Tua Tagovailoa bumps up one spot to 18th overall. Our ratings system is cumulative, not percentile-based, rewarding players who are consistently productive and avoid injury or benching. Bye weeks negatively impacted affected players but evened out over the course of the season. Our formula factors accuracy, passing yardage, touchdown/interception ratio and team result. These are passer ratings per se and do not include a QB’s running statistics. The 2025 Top 20 (plus other Dolphins) entering Week 15:
