Greg Cote’s Poll Dance: Will Tua make Dolphins a championship contender? Vote now

What is your confidence level that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will help make the Miami Dolphins a championship contender?

Question sound familiar? It should.

We asked it word for word in late July of 2024, or 1 1/2 seasons ago. Then, Tua had just signed a four-year, $212 million contract extension, and Miami was coming off an 11-6 season (and playoff loss) in ‘23. Hopes were high -- and the poll results mostly reflected that.

You answered 49 percent “very” confident, 27% “somewhat” confident” and 24% “not” confident. If not exactly landslide approval, that did indicate pretty solid support for Tua.

Let’s see how Dolfans answer the same question now, following an 8-9 season and with Miami currently 2-7 as its hosts Buffalo this Sunday.

Vote as many times as you like or until your fingers ache.
