Greg Cote’s Poll Dance: How do you grade the Miami Heat on its Jimmy Butler trade? Vote now!

How do you grade the Miami Heat’s trade-deadline deal involving the departure of malcontent star Jimmy Butler?

Miami did not land Kevin Durant in the four-team mashup, as had been speculated, but seemed to get plenty in return for a player who’d have left after this season anyway. The Heat get starter-caliber Andrew Wiggins, quality rotation guys in top defender Davion Mitchell and Kyle Anderson, and a protected first-round 2025 draft pick from Golden State.

I call it a net-plus and very good for Pat Riley -- the best available deal the club could have gotten.

But that’s just my opinion. Your turn now.

You may vote as many times as you’d like or until your fingers get tired.
