Greg Cote’s Poll Dance: Is South Florida’s best pro coach Maurice, McDaniel or Spoelstra? Vote now!

Who is Miami/South Florida’s best professional-team coach? Not all time -- right now.

By whatever your standard is, who is the best at his job in the context of his league/sport and has earned your confidence most: The guy running the Dolphins, the Heat or the Panthers?

One ask: This is not a favorite-team poll! Whether your preferred sport is football, hockey or hoops, please vote which team right now has the best coach.

Synopsis argument for each:

Maurice: In third season, one Stanley Cup Final, a Cup championship last season, now winning again.

McDaniel: Three seasons, the first two with club’s first consecutive playoff years since 2000-2001.

Spoelstra: In 17th season, has won two championship and had four other NBA Finals appearances.

Note: Miami Marlins manager Clayton McCullough and Inter Miami coach Javier Mascherano are both new to the job for their upcoming seasons so were not included in our poll.

You may vote as many times as you’d like or until your fingers get tired.
