Greg Cote

It’s a Bengals-Ravens, Burrow-Jackson prime-time Thursday shootout to launch NFL Week 10. Our pick

GREG COTE’S NFL WEEK 10 THURSDAY PICK

BENGALS (4-5) at RAVENS (6-3)

Line: BAL by 6.

Cote’s pick: BAL, 38-34.

TV: 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Prime Video.

AFC North battle should be a good, high-scoring one to kick off NFL Week 10. Bengals are 3-1 on road and Ravens 3-1 at home, both are coming off wins, and last meeting was a thriller with Baltimore’s 41-38 overtime win in Week 5. And stakes are high. Cincy with a win climbs to .500 and announces itself back in playoff hunt. BAL needs a win to keep up division pace with surprising Pittsburgh. Overriding it all: Joe Burrow vs. Lamar Jackson is an A-list QB duel between hot arms each having a great season. L-Jack leads a Crows offense No. 2 in league in scoring; Joe Cool has Gals scoring in top 10. Neither defense is great; Bengals tried to be active at trade deadline to help their D but failed to swing any deals. Jackson has missed practices with a tender knee but doesn’t seem in jeopardy of missing games. Give me Baltimore at home with Jackson, Derrick Henry and that great ground game facing a mediocre Cincy run D. But give me Burrow keeping it inside the bet line.
