Pigs fly! Jets’ Zach Wilson wins Week 14 in latest Herald NFL QB rankings; Prescott grows season lead

JETS’ ZACH WILSON WINS WEEK 14 TITTLE (NO, SERIOUSLY), COWBOYS’ DAK PRESCOTT EXPANDS OVERALL SEASON LEAD OVER TUA IN MIAMI HERALD’S UPDATED NFL QUARTERBACK RANKINGS: The New York Jets’ previously forlorn Zach Wilson wins Week 14 honors with a 44.05 game in the Miami Herald’s NFL quarterback rankings. The season’s lowest winning weekly total sees him rise from 27th to 25th in the overall season standings. Dallas’ Dak Prescott is No. 1 overall for a third straight week, growing his lead to nearly 20 points over Miami’s Tua Tagovailoa after Tua’s subpar game in Monday night’s home loss. Our ratings system is cumulative not percentile-based, rewarding players who are consistently productive and avoid injury or benching. Because it is cumulative, players who had a bye took a temporary that evened out to what is now a level playing field for the stretch run. This is the 26th year for the Herald’s Passer Success System (PASS) rankings, which began in 1998 with Steve Young the inaugural season champion. Our ratings formula factors accuracy, passing yardage, touchdown/interception ratio and team result. They are passer ratings per se and do not include a QB’s running statistics. The updated 2023 top 20 entering Week 15:
