NFL Thursday night: Let us count the ways the high-riding Dallas Cowboys will handle slumping Seattle
NFL WEEK 13
GREG COTE’S THURSDAY NIGHT PICK
SEAHAWKS (6-5) at COWBOYS (8-3)
Line: DAL by 9.
Cote’s pick: DAL, 34-13.
TV: 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Prime Video.
We went a season-best 14-2 last week — and a rather incredible 14-2 against the spread as well. Clean slate now for Week 13, but need to keep the hand hot! No NFL team does home-field advantage like Jerry Jones’ guys. Dallas has won 13 straight at home (5-0 this season) and by an average margin of almost 20 points. Cowboys are en fuego offensively as Dak Prescott is on an 18-2 TDs-picks scorcher the past six games behind a great O-line. As with Miami, the knock on Dallas is “easy schedule.” Boys have yet to beat a team currently over. 500. The thing is, Seattle hardly seems like a winning team, on a 1-3 skid with a dried-up offense that has gone 20 straight possessions without a TD. Also: Dallas on a 5-1 run in prime time, while Seattle has lost seven of past nine under the lights. Lean strongly to Dallas doing what it does: Win by a lot.
