Greg Cote Show podcast: Father-Son Olympics return with FG kicking. And why is Greg so emotional?
The newest episode of the Greg Cote Show, out now, is a tri-cornered blockbuster. (Which may be the first use of the word “tri-cornered” not referring to a Revolutionary War-era hat). This actually is one of our shorter episodes yet, but action-packed.
The main menu:
▪ The Father-Son Olympics is back after a brief hiatus as Greg and Chris go toe-to-toe in a best-of-10 field goal contest from 30 yards. Greg, maker of a 50-yard field goal way back when, needs redemption in an Olympics not going his way thus far. Does he get it?
▪ The world premiere of a new Yeti song, “Pebble Drive,” an ode to Greg’s childhood growing up at 14:40. The song is unexpectedly sweet, and tender, and hit us like a ton of bricks. Greg tears up and fights emotion like never before in the history of this podcast.
▪ The debut of a new segment so new we haven’t come up with a name for it yet. How about, “Pop and G”? Where Greg has a conversation with his 4-year-old granddaughter Gracelin. The debut installment is about Disney but veers rather wildly.
