Greg Cote Show podcast: Golf with Le Batard Show, platonic lip kissing, planning Greg’s funeral
The Greg Cote Show podcast put out two new episodes last week but we’re not tired. We’re back with another one!
This is our 15th episode of 2022 and our 106th overall and we welcome you back as always with another jam-packed menu with surprises at every turn:
Greg joins the crew from the Le Batard Show in a golf outing at Parkland Country Club -- a best-ball challenge match pitting our team of ragamuffins vs. PGA Tour pro Max Homa, a three-time winner. We went three-under par. Was it good enough?
Hear who made our three birdie putts, who were our best golfers and who sucked as we talk live with Stugotz, Billy Gil, Roy Bellamy, Chris Cote and Jessica Smetana.
Also in the new episode:
▪ Lip kissing. Is at awkward or OK when a guy’s platonic female friends go lip-to-lip during a greeting hug.
▪ Does Chris only call his mother when he needs something? (Like, for instance, a babysitter?).
▪ Bowling beef. There was acrimony at the lanes on Chris’ recent league night. Find out why.
▪ Early planning stage of the Cote Olympics pitting father vs. son, Greg vs. Chris.
▪ Greg is back with another try at his Gerdle word game. It can’t possibly be worse than last week ... can it?
▪ The mayor of a city in Georgia sings a song he wrote about Greg. No, seriously.
▪ Funeral songs. A lighthearted chat on a strange subject turns serious as Yeti recalls the song his family sang to his dying father in his last moments.
