Greg Cote Show podcast: No-holds-barred with Ron Magill, Hard Knocks on champion Lobos, Cote’s COVID
The Greg Cote Show podcast’s second episode of 2022 and 93rd overall is out now! This marks our first proper new pod of the new year, because last week’s was a greatest hits special -- our best-of year-in-review.
In this new episode our friend Ron Magill sits in for a mostly fun but at times emotional conversation. Nobody is more passionate about wildlife and animals than the beloved Magill, face of Zoo Miami and an internationally renowned conservationist and wildlife photographer.
This also double as our Champion’s Podcast as we celebrate Greg’s Lobos winning the PFPI Fantasy crown -- his first in the 13-year history of the league. Hard Knocks is on board to chronicle the historic event as Greg addresses his championship team.
Also in the new episode:
▪ The Cotes’ COVID Christmas! How the virus, always ill-timed, turned one family’s holiday upside down. (No complaints, though. We’re all fine).
▪ Magill enthuses about the bald eagle babies recently hatched at his zoo, discusses the death of Fluffy the Camel, and shares the enormous year-round cost of keeping animals healthy at a major zoo.
▪ Ron also shares who’d win a fight between him and the Kratt Brothers as Greg fakes knowing who the hell the Kratt Brothers are. Magill also recalls being the animal guy for Don Johnson in the Miami Vice days, gives his Mount Rushmore of Famous friends and much, much more.
▪ On Hard Knocks, the newly minted champion Lobos share details of an ambitious three-month, 9,000-mile victory parade around the outer perimeter of the continental United States -- the biggest championship parade in sports history if it ever gets off the ground.

Our podcast debuted in March 2020, just before the pandemic hit. (Sorry. Don’t blame us). We thank you all, pod family, for your great and growing support. Please continue to listen, rate, review, follow, then unfollow and follow again and so on. It isn’t cheating, and it helps us a ton. Tell your friends, too!
