Greg Cote Show podcast: Ex-team exec Mike Tannenbaum on Dolphins; Greg saves the post office
The Greg Cote Show podcast after a week’s hiatus roars back with history-making Episode 25, a celebration of our Silver Pod-iversary, out now. The chock-a-block menu:
We welcome back the official rapper of the podcast, Atlanta’s Juju Gotti, who sits in with Greg and Chris for much of the episode, bringing his sports Dunce of the Week, his take on Medieval Wars and other heat.
We also welcome in special guest Mike Tannenbaum, the former New York Jets (2006-12) and Miami Dolphins (2015-18) GM/VP of football operations and now an NFL front office insider for ESPN. Tannenbaum discusses who will win the Tom Brady/Bill Belichick split, when the Dolphins should play Tua Tagovailoa, his regrets over how and why it ended for him in Miami and more. Also, some deep talk about omelets!
Greg discusses how he did his civic duty as an American citizen and participated over the weekend in a local rally among hundreds held nationwide to save the U.S. Postal Service. Greg also explains ‘the Greg Cote Show bump,’ and we get sporty chatting up Inter Miami’s first win, the Heat’s early playoff dominance, and the MLB debut of Marlins pitcher Sixto Sanchez, whose name sounds like an Old West gunslinger.
And, yes: We bring the newest edition of our love-it-or-hate-it Mount Gregmore Name Game — the H’s. Who will it be? And will curmudgeon Chris hate it per usual?
Hear all of this and more in the new Greg Cote Show podcast silver Episode 25! Find a new episode out every Monday morning on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google, Stitcher, Megaphone and wherever else you do your podding, including of course at MiamiHerald.com.
We began this venture in March, and support from our loyal and growing pod family of listeners nationwide has been terrific and humbling. Thank you all so much, and please continue to subscribe, rate and review.
