NHL sets schedule for Panthers-Maple Leafs and there are no home conflicts with Heat

The Florida Panthers and Miami Heat might be the two most unlikely teams in the second round of their league’s playoffs, and there’s good news for Miami fans trying to see as many postseason games in person as possible this spring: The Panthers and Heat don’t have any conflicting home dates, although three of the games in their series could be played on the same dates.

Game 3, Florida’s first home game of Round 2, is set for Sunday with Game 4 on May 10 at FLA Live Arena.

Game 6 would be May 14 in Sunrise, if necessary.

For Miami, Game 3 at the Kaseya Center is Saturday and Game 4 is Monday. Game 6 of Heat-Knicks would take place May 12, if necessary.

The Panthers already knew their first two games with the Toronto Maple Leafs were going to be Tuesday and Thursday in Canada, but they were waiting on dates for later in the series and hoping to avoid as many conflicts with the Heat as possible. For the most part, Florida is getting its wish.

The full second-round schedule for Panthers-Maple Leafs is:

  • Game 1: Tuesday, Scotiabank Arena, 7 p.m., ESPN
