The 2018-19 NHL season is less than two months away, and the Florida Panthers hope to be in the playoff hunt this year after a strong finish last season that barely left them on the outside of postseason play.

Those who want to see the team live but don’t want to invest in a season-ticket plan will soon have their chance to get tickets for the upcoming season.

Single-game tickets to Panthers’ home games for their 25th anniversary season will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday. They can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or at the BB&T Center’s box office.

The Panthers went 25-5-3 following the All-Star break to close out the 2017-18 season and finish with 96 points. They missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs by one point. In that stretch, the Panthers won 18 of 22 home games.

The Panthers’ home opener is set for Oct. 11 against Columbus with the puck dropping at 7 p.m.

The Panthers on Thursday also announced their season-long promotions, which include “$5 beer Thursdays,” “Flashback Fridays” and previously announced “Legacy Saturdays.”
