Florida Panthers to open preseason in Music City
The Florida Panthers will open their preseason in familar fashion as they will travel to Nashville to face the Predators in their annual exhibition doubleheader on Sept. 19 at Bridgestone Arena.
The two teams have held doubleheaders — which was a first in the NHL — since 2011.
Florida announced its entire preseason schedule on Friday.
The Panthers will play six exhibition games with two at BB&T Center in Sunrise against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sept. 26 and 28th.
Florida will play four games in Nashville, Montreal and Tampa.

Sept. 19: Florida Panthers at Nashville Predators, 4:30 p.m.
Sept. 19: Florida Panthers at Nashville Predators, 8 p.m.
Sept. 24: Florida Panthers at Tampa Bay Lightning, 4 p.m.
Sept. 26: Tampa Bay Lightning at Florida Panthers, 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 28: Tampa Bay Lightning at Florida Panthers, 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 29: Florida Panthers at Montreal Canadiens, TBA
