The Dolphins have traded their fifth-round pick to the Patriots for two sixths and a seventh, the NFL has announced.

Miami sent New England the 147th pick, getting the 196th, 204th and 250th in return.

But the Patriots didn’t use that pick. They turned around and packaged it and a seventh rounder to the Seahawks, getting the 225th and a fourth-rounder next year in return.

In all, that gives the Dolphins two sixths and three sevenths -- but nothing in the fourth or fifth rounds. They also own the 227th and 231st
