Nationally televised game vs. Falcons highlights Dolphins’ preseason schedule
The Miami Dolphins have a deadline for their stadium roof: Aug. 25.
That’s when the team will host its first 2016 preseason game, the NFL announced Thursday.
So the franchise has a little under five months to complete all work on the stadium’s shade canopy. The Dolphins insisted recently it will be, saying that nearly half-billion dollar renovation project is on pace. Adding to the pressure: the game against the Falcons will air nationally on NBC.
Here’s the full preseason schedule, which includes trips to New York and Dallas, and home games against Atlanta and Tennessee.
Week 1 (Aug. 11-15): at New York Giants.
Week 2 (Aug. 18-22): at Dallas Cowboys.
Week 3 (Aug. 25, 8 p.m.): vs. Atlanta Falcons.
Week 4 (Sep. 1-2): vs. Tennessee Titans.
The dates and times for the Giants, Cowboys and Titans games will be announced at a later date. All but the Week 3 game will air on WFOR-CBS 4.
