Ex-Texans star Arian Foster to visit Miami Dolphins on Tuesday
The Miami Dolphins will keep looking at running backs until they find the one they like.
The latest: ex-Texans star Arian Foster, who is less than five months removed from Achilles tendon surgery.
ESPN first reported that Foster will visit with the Dolphins on Tuesday, although it’s unclear if Foster will sign anywhere any time soon because of his health. The Miami Herald has learned that Tuesday’s get-together is more of a exploratory meeting, so the Dolphins can see where Foster is physically. While it’s possible Foster could sign with the team this week, it’s not likely.

Foster is the third free agent rusher to meet with the team in recent weeks. The Dolphins made a strong offer to C.J. Anderson, but the Broncos matched the deal and kept him. Then Chris Johnson came to Davie, but re-signed with the Cardinals shortly after leaving town.
Foster, 29, is among the league’s most accomplished active running backs. He has 6,472 yards and 54 touchdowns in seven NFL seasons and has averaged 4.5 yards per rush in his career.
