Ryan Tannehill named AFC Offensive Player of the Week
Ryan Tannehill was nearly perfect in Week 7.
And he was plenty good enough to be the AFC's top offensive player.
The NFL named Tannehill, who completed 18 of 19 passes for 282 yards and four touchdowns against the Texans, the conference's top offensive player of the week Wednesday. He had a perfect 158.3 passer rating. It was the first time in Tannehill's four-year career he's won the award.
Tannehill also broke the NFL’s record for consecutive completions, connecting on 25 straight, dating back to last week’s game against the Titans. His 94.7 percent accuracy rating against Houston was the highest in a game in Dolphins history.
