Dolphins hosting nine training camp practices open to fans
Fans interested in evaluating, and getting an early look at Jeff Hafley’s talent base in the first year of this Miami Dolphins’ latest rebuild will have nine opportunities to do so before the regular season.
The Dolphins announced that nine practices during the 2026 training camp will be open to the public, but one of those practices — Aug. 18 — will feature exclusive access for season-ticket holders.
The first practice open to the public will be on Aug. 2, at 9:30 a.m., and it will kick off the second week of training camp, which officially opens on July 29. That week typically features Miami’s first padded practices, which are usually the sessions that feature the most contact/action.
The Dolphins will also hold open training camp practices on August 3-4 at 9:30 a.m., August 6-7 at 9:30 a.m., and an Aug. 8 (Saturday) practice at Hard Rock Stadium, which is scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m.
That practice, which often replicates a scrimmage-like situation, will conclude Miami’s second week of training camp, and the Dolphins will hold one more open practice on Aug. 10 at 9:30 a.m. before traveling to Virginia for a joint practice with the Washington Commanders, which leads up to the Aug. 14 preseason opening game, which kicks off at 7 p.m., and will be televised locally by WFOR.
The remaining two practices open to the public will take place on Aug. 18 at 9:30 a.m., and is the exclusive practice for season-ticket members. The final practice open to the public will take place on Aug. 20 at 9:30 a.m. and is a joint practice against the New York Giants, which sets up Miami’s second preseason game, an Aug. 22 contest against the Giants that the Dolphins will host.
All practices are free to those in attendance, but those interested in attending are encouraged to reserve spots by visiting the team’s 2026 training camp website, which also provides attendance information, scheduling updates, and giveaways.
This year’s training camp will feature unique Dolphins giveaways to the first 1,000 fans every day and food trucks from local restaurants will be on site.
Practice times are subject to change, and those interested in attending are encouraged to follow the team’s social media accounts for daily updates and scheduling changes, which routinely occur because of South Florida’s weather.
