Dolphins TE Darren Waller ruled out vs. Browns with pectoral injury

The Miami Dolphins just lost another pass-catcher.

After initially being ruled questionable to return with a pectoral injury, Darren Waller was ruled out.

It’s unclear when the injury occurred. The star tight end returned to the locker room in the second quarter, just minutes before halftime. He was held to zero catches and targets vs. the Cleveland Browns prior to his exit.

In his three previous games, Waller wowed with four touchdowns. He also has caught 10 balls for 117 yards.

With Tyreek Hill already out with a season-ending left knee injury, the Dolphins will have to go without another impactful pass-catcher. That will put more onus on receiver Jaylen Waddle as well as tight ends Tanner Conner and Julian Hill.

Waller missed the first three games of the year as he dealt with a hip injury that essentially caused him to miss all of training camp.
