Dolphins receiver Dee Eskridge injures leg at the end of Saturday’s practice

Wide receiver Dee Eskridge appears to have sustained a right leg injury at the end of Saturday’s practice.

On the final play of the day, Eskridge grabbed at his hamstring as he attempted to walk off. The 28-year-old wideout eventually needed to be taken off via cart.

Eskridge joined the Dolphins midway through the 2024 season, serving primarily as a return specialist. He suffered a knee injury during the Fins’ Week 14 against the New York Jets. The receiver subsequently missed the following two games with a knee injuries.

A return in Week 17 against the Cleveland Browns was short-lived as he would miss the season finale against the Jets with a finger injury. He finished the 2024 season with three catches for 44 yards as well as five returns for 146 yards.

The Seattle Seahawks picked Eskridge in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He spent the first three years with the Seahawks, racking up 17 catches, 122 yards and a single touchdown.
