A scary moment for the Miami Dolphins happened in the second quarter when a Houston Texans player rolled up on Jaylen Waddle he tried to make a block.

The receiver hobbled to the sideline before collapsing, holding his right leg. He subsequently limped to the blue tint.

Then came the news: Waddle had sustained a right knee injury and he’s questionable to return, according to the Dolphins.

Although Waddle was listed as questionable, he never returned to the game.

“He was super frustrated,” coach Mike McDaniel said of Waddle, who didn’t catch any of his two targets prior to exiting the game. “I don’t really have much after that. He was on the sidelines cheering his teammates on which was good for me to see but we’ll get some more information tomorrow.”

Despite a slow start to the season, Waddle has come alive in the past three games. Over that span, the fourth year receiver snagged 21 balls for 296 yards and a touchdown.
