Watch Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa star in this new Super Bowl commercial
The Dolphins won’t be playing in next weekend’s Super Bowl but the franchise will be represented well during the bevy of commercials hitting your TV screen in between the game.
Dolphins legend Dan Marino is in a star-studded Michelob commercial that also features Inter Miami star Lionel Messi.
And quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is also the star of a commercial for Pamarount+.
Flanked by other Paramount Pictures stars, such as Knuckles from Sonic the Hedgehog and Patrick Stewart, the commercial has Tagovailoa poke fun at himself in a light-hearted ad.
Set at the scene of arctic “Paramount Mountain,” Tagovailoa struggles to throw a grappling hook atop a mountain peak.
“I can’t get that thing up there. If it were a football, I’d be able to reach the top,” he says.
Stewart suggests throwing the “football-shaped head” of Arnold from the Nickelodeon show “Hey Arnold!” but Tagovailoa refuses.
Stewart then sheds his jacket to reveal an old-school football uniform underneath before taking Arnold and tossing him to the peak of the mountain. Arnold, though, smacks into the mountain before sliding back to the ground.
