Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa made an appearance on the “ManningCast” broadcast of “Monday Night Football.”

And while the Jacksonville Jaguars faced the Cincinnati Bengals, a matchup whose outcome gave the Dolphins the No. 1 spot in the AFC, Tagovailoa spoke with former NFL quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Eli Manning.

The fourth-year player broke out a guitar at one point, playing renditions of “Tears In Heaven” by Eric Clapton, as well as “Sweet Home Alabama.”

The musical showcase caught the attention of one of country music’s biggest stars, Darius Rucker, who is also a huge Dolphins fan. Late Monday night, the Grammy Award-winning star responded to a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) saying that he and Tagovailoa needed to get in the studio for a “jam session.”

“I’m in,” wrote Rucker, who on Monday was also honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Tagovailoa, 25, has played the guitar for several years and even played the ukulele during a pre-game interview with former Dolphin Ryan Fitzpatrick ahead of a “Thursday Night Football” game in the 2022 season.
