Dolphins sign long snapper Blake Ferguson to contract extension

The Miami Dolphins on Wednesday announced they signed long snapper Blake Ferguson to a three-year contract extension through the 2026 season.

Ferguson, 26, has appeared in all 50 regular-season games since Miami selected him in the sixth round of the 2020 Draft. He’s the first member of the draft class, which includes quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, right tackle Austin Jackson and defensive tackle Raekwon Davis, among others, to get an extension with the Dolphins.

Ferguson is the third Dolphin in the last two weeks to receive a contract extension, joining defensive lineman Zach Sieler and fullback Alec Ingold. Sieler and Ingold also received three-year extensions through the 2026 season.
