Watch Zach Thomas’ reaction to receiving his Pro Football Hall of Fame gold jacket

In February, the long wait for Zach Thomas was over. He was heading to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of the nine-person Class of 2023 — 13 years after retiring from the NFL.

Next month, he will get inducted and enshrined in Canton, Ohio.

This week, the former Miami Dolphins middle linebacker picked up a key component for his Hall of Fame ceremony.

The patented gold jacket.

Thomas opened a package to lay eyes on the jacket, numbered 370 — for the first time in front of his three kids in a video the Pro Football Hall of Fame posted to Twitter.

Check out his reaction below:

Thomas played 13 seasons in the NFL, 12 were with the Dolphins where he was a devastating force in the middle of Miami’s defense. He tallied 1,734 total tackles, which is fifth in NFL history, 205 sacks, 17 interceptions, 14 forced fumbles and scored four touchdowns during his Hall of Fame career.
