Podcast: Recapping franchise tag deadline and Dolphins moves one week before free agency
The start of free agency is one week away and the Dolphins are already making moves.
Miami is releasing cornerback Byron Jones and tight end Cethan Carter in cost-saving moves, while placing a tender on defensive back Elijah Campbell to keep him with the team. Meanwhile, teams are free to negotiate a deal with Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who received the non-exclusive franchise tag Tuesday, but the Dolphins reportedly will not be one of them. According to ESPN, the Dolphins are no pursuing any starting quarterback this offseason.
In this week’s Dolphins In Depth podcast, Daniel Oyefusi and David Neal recap the franchise tag and the Dolphins’ roster moves.
