Poll: Should the Dolphins exercise Tua Tagovailoa’s fifth-year option?

At the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel and Chris Grier spoke about wanting to keep quarterback Tua Tagovailoa with the organization for years to come. But neither gave any indication of how they are leaning when it comes to exercising his fifth-year option.

Picking up the option ahead of the May 2 deadline would extend Tagoavailoa’s contract through the 2024 season and fully guarantee his salary at about $23 million. McDaniel said the team is weighing all factors, while Grier said Tagovailoa’s injury history would not deter the organization from committing long-term.

Should the Dolphins exercise Tagovailoa’s fifth-year option? Vote in this poll.
