Miami Dolphins

Who’s active, who’s not for Dolphins’ regular-season finale vs. Jets

Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard and outside linebacker Bradley Chubb are active for the team’s regular-season finale at home against the New York Jets on Sunday.

Both players will return to the field after missing Miami’s Week 17 road game against the New England Patriots. Howard was listed as questionable to play because of a knee injury, and Chubb was also questionable because of an ankle and hand injury.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is also active after being listed as questionable because of an injury to the pinkie on his right (throwing) hand. He is expected to back up rookie Skylar Thompson, who is making his second career start. Mike Glennon, whom the team signed to the practice squad on Wednesday, is also active after being elevated to the game-day roster on Saturday.

Fullback Alec Ingold (thumb) is also active after being listed as questionable.

Rookie wide receiver Erik Ezukanma is active for the first time this season and could make his NFL debut.

Left tackle Terron Armstead, who was listed as doubtful because of multiple injuries, is inactive. Armstead will miss his second consecutive game and third this season. The Dolphins also deactivated quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion), wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. (hip), offensive tackle Kendall Lamm (ankle), cornerback Noah Igbinoghene, linebacker Brennan Scarlett and tight end Tanner Conner.
