As disappointing as the Dolphins’ 33-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers was, head coach Mike McDaniel and players were confident in the team’s ability to turn things around quickly.

The defeat, which ended a five-game winning streak, was an uncharacteristic outing, from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s three turnovers to the defense’s struggles to stop an offense led by a rookie quarterback in Brock Purdy.
