Miami Dolphins

Who’s active, who’s not for Dolphins’ home game vs. Texans

Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert is inactive for Sunday’s home game against the Houston Texans and won’t play because of a knee injury.

With Mostert unavailable, Jeff Wilson is expected to assume lead back duties, with Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed serving as backups.

Mostert, who will miss his first game this season, was limited in practice throughout the week and listed as doubtful to play. He missed the majority of the 2021 season because of a knee cartilage injury.

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is also inactive because of a knee injury. Bridgewater will miss his second consecutive game, while rookie Skylar Thompson will back up Tua Tagovailoa again.

Veteran defensive tackle Justin Zimmer, whom the Dolphins signed on Wednesday, is active and expected to make his team debut.

Rookie wide receiever Erik Ezukanma, tight end Hunter Long and cornerback Noah Igbinoghene are also inactive.
