Podcast: Recapping Dolphins cuts, breaking down 53-man roster and more
The Dolphins are transitioning into the regular season. They concluded the preseason with a dominating win over the Philadelphia Eagles, then cut their roster to 80 players by the NFL’s 4 p.m. Tuesday deadline.
The initial roster likely won’t be the exact team the Dolphins take into their Week 1 opener against the New England Patriots on Sept. 11. Hundreds of players exposed to the waiver wire means the Dolphins could add a player or two before the start of the season.
In this week’s Dolphins In Depth podcast, Daniel Oyefusi and David Neal discuss Miami’s roster cuts, as well as the preseason finale.
