Dolphins wide receiver Erik Ezukanma has signed his rookie deal, the team announced Friday, making him the last of four draft picks to agree to terms.

Under the rookie wage scale in the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement, the total value of Ezukanma’s four-year contract will be about $4.4 million, including a $725,000 signing bonus, according to Spotrac.

According to NFL Network, only nine of 38 fourth-round picks had signed their rookie deals as of Wednesday. The holdup, according to the report, was because of agents seeking more money than the minimum salary set by the CBA after the Texans gave running back Dameon Piece $25,000 over the minimum. It’s unclear whether Ezukanma received more than the minimum salary.

Ezukanma, the No. 125 overall pick out of Texas Tech, caught 48 passes for 705 yards and four touchdowns in 2021, earning second-team All-Big 12 honors. A three-year starter, he recorded 138 receptions for 2,165 yards and 15 touchdowns in his college career and led Texas Tech in receiving yards in three consecutive seasons. He attended rookie minicamp and organized team activities, which conclude this week.
