For the second consecutive year, the Dolphins have been eliminated from postseason contention in Week 17. However, there’s an extra game this season, leaving the team with Week 18 matchup with the New England Patriots that has no postseason implications for Miami (The Patriots are still in contention for the AFC East title and a higher seed).

While many have naturally looked ahead to a crucial offseason that awaits the organizations, players and coaches have remained focused on playing the Patriots and finishing the season with a winning record. In this week’s Dolphins In Depth podcast, Daniel Oyefusi is joined by Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press to discuss Miami falling short of the playoffs and what’s next for the team.
