The NFL’s opt-out deadline is 4 p.m. Thursday, but the Dolphins learned well before then that they will be short-handed at wide receiver in 2020.

Two of team’s top five wide receivers — Allen Hurns and Albert Wilson — elected to skip the season because of COVID-19 concerns.
